Produced by bodega Javier San Pedro Ortega, a new, cutting-edge winery located in Laguardia, in the heart of La Rioja, Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás is a young varietal Tempranillo briefly aged in oak.
Sourced from low-yielding vines, the grapes were gently destemmed and transferred into 225-litre French oak barrels. Then this Spanish red wine was fermented for 14 days, with 4-5 daily punch-downs and pump-overs.
After that, the red wine Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás 2020 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for some months in those same barrels.
This is an uncomplicated, yummy Crianza red wine.
