A varietal Grenache wine, Vinyes Doménech Vi d’Amfora is produced by Celler Vinyes Domènech following the principles of organic and biodynamic farming.
The grapes are sorted from vines around 20 years of age, grown in shallow, poor soils composed of clay and limestone.
First, this varietal Spanish red wine from DO Montsant was fermented using indigenous yeasts.
Then Vinyes Doménech Vi d’Amfora 2021 was aged for a short period of time in 300-litre clay amphorae.
It is important to aerate this organic red wine some time before you drink it.
