Coming from the southern Catalan region of Conca de Barberà, Vins de Pedra L’Orni is a blend of Chardonnay and Parellada.
This Spanish white wine is produced by winemaker Marta Pedra through her company Vins de Pedra. Besides, she makes wine in DO Empordà with her partner Josep Serra, owner of the La Vinyeta winery.
It is made from 15-year-old vines grown at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, and farmed following organic procedures.
Traditionally vinified, Vins de Pedra L’Orni 2021 was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on lees with periodic stirrings.
