Made by Viñas del Vero, Viñas del Vero Gran Vos Reserva is an excellently priced reserva red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Produced in the northern Spanish region of Somontano, the grapes are sorted from several plots located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of sand and limestone.
The grapes were picked by hand from late August to mid September. Then, each variety was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this Spanish red wine was aged in mostly new French oak barrels for a period of 15 months.
Finally, Viñas del Vero Gran Vos Reserva 2016 was gently filtered prior to its bottling and aged for some months in the bottle before its release.
