The single plot red wine Viña Pedrosa Finca La Navilla comes from an exceptional site located in the very heart of Ribera del Duero.
Perched at 850 metres of altitude, the vineyard has a special microclimate, with huge differences of temperature between daytime and nighttime.
That key feature, as well as its clay-limestone soils, results in a remarkably complex, terroir-transparent Spanish red wine.
Made solely from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), the 20 to 35-year-old vines were harvested by hand. Then this wine of Bodegas Hnos.Pérez Pascuas was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, Viña Pedrosa La Navilla 2018 was aged in French oak barrels from Allier for a period of 20 months. Then, this Reserva red wine was aged for a minimum of 16 months in the bottle.
Decant this Ribera del Duero red wine a minimum of 30 minutes before drinking.
