One of those wines that embodies the essence of a region, namely La Rioja, Viña Alberdi Crianza is produced by La Rioja Alta.
A varietal Tempranillo, this Spanish red wine is crafted from over 30-year-old vineyards located in the towns of Rodezno and Labastida.
The plots are at an altitude between 500 and 600 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of clay and limestone. After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then this red wine from La Rioja was transferred into American oak barrels, where it remained for 24 months. During the first 12 months, it was aged in new barrels and racked four times.
After that, Viña Alberdi Crianza 2018 completed its ageing process in 4th year oak barrels.
