Delicate, rare and characteristic, Vimblanc 4V/B Blanc de Negres de Capçanes is produced from over 50-year-old Grenache vineyards.
Harvested by hand and meticulously selected on site, once in the facilities of Celler de Capçanes the grapes were destemmed and food trodden, after which the solid part of the skins was quickly separated from the wine must not to colour it.
Then this Spanish white wine from DO Montsant was fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 3 weeks, and kept in contact with its lees for 3 months.
After the process, Vimblanc 4V/B Blanc de Negres de Capçanes 2014 was transferred into new, partially filled French oak barrels. There, the wine was biologically aged for 8 years under a «flor» veil similar to that of Sherry wines.
Aerate this white wine from Montsant 30 minutes before drinking.
Only 2,000 bottles produced.
