A household name from the increasingly talked about DO Terra Alta, the Edetària winery is the producer of Via Edetana Blanc.
Made principally from White Grenache (70%), coming from 40-year-old vineyards grown in panal soils, this Spanish white wine is complemented with Viognier (30%).
Another interesting feature of this organic white wine is its remarkable acidity, which is brought about by the early harvest of the grapes.
After a careful vinification, half of the wine was aged for 4 months in 300-litre French oak barrels, while the other half was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, Via Edetana Blanc 2021 was filtered and blended.
