Produced by bodega Tío Pepe of González Byass following an old recipe from 1896, La Copa Reserva Rojo is a characterful Spanish red vermouth from Jerez made from a blend of Pedro Ximénez wines and Oloroso wines coming from old soleras.
The blend is macerated with eight botannicals: wormwood, winter savoury, clove, orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, angelica and cinchona bark.
This vintage vermouth from Jerez from suggests aromas of cinnamon and clove, with some citrusy remembrances and a round, deep and slightly bitter palate, with a long, round finish.
We suggest serving La Copa Reserva Rojo chilled, preferably with a a twist of orange or lemon peel and a green olive.
