One the absolute best Syrah wines produced in Spain, Vallegarcía Syrah Magnum comes from the tiny Designation Pago Vallegarcía, located in Montes de Toledo.
This varietal Spanish red wine is made from low-yielding vines grown in extremely poor soils.
The grapes were carefully selected and brought to the cellar in little boxes. Then they were macerated for a period of 72 hours, after which they fermented for 21 days under controlled temperature.
After that, this Crianza red wine from the Pago de Vallegarcía winery was aged in new French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
Finally, Vallegarcía Syrah 2018 Magnum was aged for a minimum of 12 months in the bottle prior to its release.
