Hand-picked and meticulosly selected, each variety was separately vinified. First, they were destemmed before being fermented in 300 and 500-litre oak barrels, with gentle pump-overs and punch-downs performed daily. After that, this red wine from Priorat went through a 12-day post fermentation maceration, followed by a gentle pressing.
Then the wine was transferred into stainless steel tanks, where it completed malolactic fermentation. After that, the Carignan went into new 300-litre French oak barrels and 2nd year vats, and the Grenache went into new and 2nd year 2,000-litre oak vats. Both were aged for a period of 14 months, during which period they were racked once.
Finally, Vall Llach Porrera Vi de Vila 2021 was blended and bottled.
It is essential to decant this Crianza red wine for a substantial period of time before drinking.
Only 1,664 bottles produced.
