Produced by the Valenciso winery, Valenciso Reserva is a made solely from Tempranillo grapes sourced from low-yielding vines with clay-limestone soils located in Ollauri, Briones, Rodezno, Haro and Villalba, Rioja Alta.
It is worth mentioning that this Spanish red wine from La Rioja has won considerable public and critical acclaim over the last years. So much so, that its classy blue label decorated with a silver leaf has already become a quality trademark.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were destemmed, macerated and fermented in concrete diposits.
After that, Valenciso Reserva 2016 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 18 months. Then this red wine from La Rioja was aged for a further 12 months in concrete diposits. It was bottled unfined and kept for a further months in the cellar before hitting the market.
Decant this Reserva red wine a minimum of 30 minutes before drinking.
