The Gran Reserva red wien Torremilanos Colección is produced by Bodega Torremilanos, the first Demeter certified winery in DO Ribera del Duero.
Made from Tempranillo and a droplet of other native varieties, this Spanish red wine is sourced from over 60-year-old vines grown in Finca Torremilanos, a estate located near the village of Aranda de Duero.
It must be noted that the whole of the Torremilanos estate, which comprises around 200 hectares of vineyards, is farmed following the guidelines of biodynamic agriculture.
Hand-picked and exactingly selected, the grapes were 90% destemmed and macerated for 4 days before fermenting in small barrels and concrete diposits. After completing the process, this organic red wine was macerated for 18 days.
Then, the red wine Torremilanos Colección 2016 completed the malo in French and American oak barrels and was aged for 32 months.
Finally, this Gran Reserva red wine was bottled and aged for a substantial period of time before being released onto the market.

| Palate | Exquistely balanced and super expressive, this wine Finca Torremilanos has some sinewy tannins, a detailed texture and a steely acidity which effortlessly supports its considerable structure. Amazingly long finish with a deep sense of place and some exquisite black fruit, forest floor and spicy suggestions. |
