The Torelló winery produces Torelló 225 Brut Nature from vines planted in Finca Can Martí, a 135-hectare vineyard which belongs to the family since 1935. This Spanish sparkling wine bears the Corpinnat label.
Made from a blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, the grapes were gently crushed to obtain only the free-run juice.
Then this Penedès sparkling wine was fermented, after which it was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for about 1 month. Then this Corpinnat brut nature was bottled and added yeasts to induce secondary fermentation.
Once the process was completed, Torelló 225 Brut Nature 2017 was aged for a minimum of 40 months in the cellar.
No shipping liquor was added to this Corpinnat sparkling wine after the disgorgement.
