Made from estate-owned Tempranillo vineyards over 60 years of age, Tinto Figuero 15 Meses is produced by Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero.
Manually harvested and carefully transported to the cellar, the grapes were first put into stainless steel tanks and cold-soaked for a period of 2 days.
After going through a spontaneous fermentation, this Spanish red wine was left in contact with its lees for 17 days to increase its creaminess and roundness.
After that, this Reserva red wine from Ribera del Duero underwent malolactic fermentation and was aged for 15 months in new 70% French and 30% American oak barrels.
Finally, Tinto Figuero 15 Meses 2017 was clarified with egg whites and aged for a further 21 months in the bottle before its commercial release.
We suggest that you decant this red wine from Ribera del Duero at least 1 hour before you drink it.
