Produced by bodega Àlvarez Duran, Terroir X La Tercera is an impeccable Spanish red wine from Priorat made in a traditional style.
A blend of Carignan, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the grapes come from bush vines planted on steep slate slopes which confer the wine a distinctive minerality.
Each variety was separately harvested and individually vinified in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. After that, Terroir X La Tercera 2019 was transferred into new French oak barrels, where it was aged for 14 months. Finally, the wine was bottled and aged for some months before hitting the market.
It is important to decant this Crianza red wine at the very least 40 minutes before drinking.
