Produced by the Terroir al Límit winery, Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques Blanc is an impressive Spanish white wine from DOQ Priorat, a region whose white wines are as bit as interesting -some say even more- than its world-famous red wines.
A blend of 60% White Grenache and 40% Pedro Ximénez, the grapes come from 25 to 30-year-old biodynamically farmed vineyards, planted in slate and clay soils at 400-600 metres of altitude, in the vicinity of La Morera del Montsant.
Harvested by hand in little boxes, once in the cellar the undestemmed grapes were fermented for 5 days in stainless steel tanks and concrete tanks. After that, this white wine from Priorat was kept for 6 months in the concrete tanks. It is worth mentioning that, in accordance with Mr. Dominik Huber‘s uncompromising winemaking methodology, the wine saw no oak or wood whatsoever at any stage of the process.
Superbly crafted, Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques Blanc 2022 is as terroir-oriented as they come.
We suggest that you aerate this Crianza white wine some time before drinking.
In order to enjoy it to the fullest, serve it at a temperature around 13ºC.
