Produced by Terroir al Límit, Terroir al Límit Les Manyes is the only Grenache wine of this prestigious winery from the DOQ Priorat owned by German-born Dominik Huber.
This varietal Spanish red wine is made from a scarce hectare of vines around 60 years of age, called Les Manyes, situated on a steep slope with clay, quartz and limestone soils, at an altitude around 700 metres above sea level. The winery follows the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
After a meticulous harvest, the undestemmed grapes underwent a very light maceration, aimed at infusing them with gentle aromas, rather than extracting tannin or solid components. After completing alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in vats, the malolactic fermentation of this red wine from Priorat took place in concrete eggs.
After that, Terroir al Límit Les Manyes 2019 was aged for 15 months in those recipients. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Marvelous fruit over a carpet of forest floor, aromatic herbs, flowers and a salty hint. As it unfurls, the wine keeps suggesting new and ever more complex aromatic nuances. Simply unique. |
