The 2021 vintage of Terra Remota Tan Natural is, again, a blend of Syrah and Tempranillo grapes coming from organically farmed vineyards with granite soils located in the northern area of DO Empordà.
Produced by Terra Remota, both grape varieties were meticulously harvested and separately vinified. First they fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, and they were then macerated for 3 weeks, with frequent pump-overs.
After that, Terra Remota Tan Natural 2021 was aged for 5 months in the tanks. Finally, it was cold-stabilized and bottled unfined.
Impeccably crafted, this red wine from Empordà proves that not all «natural» wines lack balance and elegance.
