Based in the northern Catalan region of L’Empordà, the Terra Remota winery was started by Marc & Emma Bournezeau in 1999. The delightful Terra Remota Camino is probably their best known wine.
A blend of 45% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Spanish red wine is sorted from 23 hectares of estate-owned, organically grown vineyards.
First the grapes were selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. After that, they were destemmed, macerated for a long time, and fermented in one third stainless steel tanks, one third wooden vats and one third oak barrels.
Finally, Terra Remota Camino 2019 was aged for 12 months in those containers.
