Produced by bodega Costers del Sió, Siós Cau del Gat is an organic Spanish red wine from DO Costers del Segre, in western Catalonia.
A blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Syrah, the grapes were picked by hand and selected on arriving at the cellar. Each grape variety, and each individual plot of grapes, were separately vinified. They were cold-macerated, fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature and macerated again for 2 weeks.
After that, Siós Cau del Gat 2020 was transferred into 300-litre French oak barrels and aged for 9 months before bottling.
Finally, this red wine from Costers del Segre was aged for a further 6 months before hitting the market.
Aerate this Crianza red wine 20 minutes before drinking.
