Made in the magic island of Formentera, the smallest and prettiest of the Balearic Islands, Savina is a blended young Spanish white wine produced by Bodega Terramoll.
The varieties are Viognier, White Grenache, Malvasía and Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Muscat), coming from 15-year-old vineyards with limestone soils.
Hand harvested during the first half of August, the grapes were selected and refrigerated for 18 hours. After that, each variety was individually vinified in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature for 25 to 30 days. After that, the white wine Savina 2021 went straight into the bottle without seeing any oak whatsoever.
We suggest pairing this organic white wine with fish and rice recipes or a baked sole with lemon sauce.
The production of this white wine from Formentera is very limited.
