A blend of 91% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 4% Grenache, Roda Reserva is produced from low-yielding, over 30-year-old vines located on the outskirts of Haro.
Produced by Bodegas Roda, this classic Spanish red wine from La Rioja was fermented in French wooden vats at a controlled temperature. After that, malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels.
Then this Reserva red wine was aged in 40% new and 60% 2nd year French oak barrels for 14 months. It was clarified with egg whites before bottling.
Before its commercial release, Roda Reserva 2019 was aged for a further 30 months in the bottle.
Decant this Rioja red wine 1 hour before drinking.
