A round, flavourful Spanish red wine from DO Montsant, Racó d’Atans Criança is produced by Mas de les Vinyes.
The main ingredient of this red wine from Montsant is Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented with Syrah, Grenache and Merlot. The grapes are sourced from 30 to 70-year-old vineyards with clay and sandy soils that bring a savoury tang to the wine.
Harvested at their optimal ripening point, the grapes were selected in the cellar. Then this Crianza red wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Racó d’Atans Criança 2016 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
