Produced by La Vinyeta, this Spanish red wine comes from the northern Catalan region of L’Empordà. Made from estate-owned vineyards, Puntiapart is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Samsó (Carignan).
Constantly swept by the Tramuntana, a relentless northern wind, the old vines were harvested by hand, and then the grapes were gently pressed and cold-macerated for some days.
After completing fermentation, Puntiapart 2019 was aged for 12 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.
