This is the new vintage of Prados Colección Garnacha, a varietal Grenache red wine from DO Campo de Borja, Aragón.
Produced by Pagos del Moncayo, this Spanish red wine is made from 80-year-old vines scattered across 7 hectares of vineyards.
The old grapevines were harvested at dusk and carefully selected. Once in the premises, they were partially destemmed, macerated for seven days in open vats, crushed by foot and fermented.
After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into French oak barrels. Then, Prados Colección Garnacha 2019 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 10 months.
