Coming from DO Rías Baixas, Pedralonga Albariño benefits from a unique, granitic soil that gives this Spanish white wine a nerve and acidity matched by few wines.
A varietal Albariño produced by the Adega Pedralonga winery, the grapes come from estate-owned vineyards located in the Umia Valley, on the foothills of mount Xiabre, in the Galician region of Caldas. The vineyards are over 25 years old, and all of the farming operations performed in the vineyard are carried out in accordance with the peasant lunar calendar.
Manually harvested and meticulously vinified, Pedralonga Albariño 2022 completed both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and was further aged on its lees until the next spring. Finally, this young white wine was naturally stabilized prior to its bottling.
Drink this white wine from Rías Baixas without food, or pair it with shrimp.
