Produced by Bodegas Félix Callejo, Parajes de Callejo is made from 87% Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo), 9% Grenache and 4% Albillo – an indigenous white variety .
The organically farmed vineyards are at around 900 metres of altitude, in an area with a harsh Continental climate in the heart of DO Ribera del Duero. The soils are composed of sand and limestone.
Picked by hand and meticulously selected, the grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts. After that, this Spanish red wine was aged for 18 months in 500-litre French oak barrels.
Finally, Parajes de Callejo 2020 was bottled and aged for some months before its commercial release.
We suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
