A blend of Grenache and Carignan, Pam de Nas comes from old vines planted in steep slate slopes near the village of Gratallops, in the heart of beautiful Priorat.
Manually harvested and meticulously selected, the grapes were destemmed, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. After that, this Spanish red wine underwent malolactic fermentation in 50% new and 50% used French oak barrels.
Then this Crianza red wine from bodega Trossos del Priorat was aged in those same barrels for 12 months. Finally, Pam de Nas 2017 spent a further 20 months in the bottle before its commercial release.
Produced only in excellent vintages, this red wine from Priorat has a nice ageing potential.
Decant a minimum of 1 hour before drinking.
