Coming from DO Ribera del Duero, Pagos de Anguix Costalara is a varietal Spanish red wine produced by bodega Pagos de Anguix, a member of J&C Prime Brands, the corporate group of bodega Juvé y Camps from Penedès,
Made only from Tinto Fino, or Tempranillo, the grapes come from estate-owned vineyards 20 to 30 years of age, planted in clay-limestone soils at over 800 metres of altitude.
Traditionally vinified, the grapes were macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into French and American oak barrels.
Finally, Pagos de Anguix Costalara 2020 was aged for 12 months before being bottled.
We suggest decanting this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
