A branch of the J&C Prime Brands group, owned by the Juvé family, bodega Pagos de Anguix is the producer of Pagos de Anguix Barrueco, a varietal Tinto Fino, or Tempranillo, from DO Ribera del Duero.
This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from 20 to 30-year-old vines grown in soils composed of rocks, sand and limestone at 850 metres of altitude.
Traditionally vinified, the grapes were macerated and fermented under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into fine-grained French oak barrels.
After that, Pagos de Anguix Barrueco 2018 was aged for a period of 15 months. Finally, it was aged for a further period of time in the bottle before hitting the market.
Pair with hearty recipes.
Aerate this red wine from Ribera del Duero 30 minutes before drinking.
