Coming from vines situated in the Tea county, near the Miño river, Nora Da Neve is a varietal Albariño from from Rías Baixas.
The vines, which grow under an Atlantic climate, are planted in soils composed mainly of gravel and decomposed granite.
The Albariño grapes used to produce this Spanish white wine of Bodega Viña Nora were harvested by hand and meticulously vinified.
First, they were macerated for 48 hours. Then they were fermented in French oak barrels, and Nora da Neve 2017 was subsequently aged for 7 months with periodic stirrings of the lees.
The result is a remarkably complex and expressive Rías Baixas white wine.
