Produced by Can Descregut, a tiny quality-oriented winery virtually unknown outside its native Catalonia, Memòria Brut Nature is a noteworthy Corpinnat organic sparkling wine made from Xarel·lo and Macabeo.
The grapes come from over 40-year-old estate vineyards located in some of Penedès’ best areas.
Both varieties were separately vinified in stainless steel tanks. The this organic Spanish sparkling wine was blended, delicately filtered and bottled to complete secondary fermentation.
Finally, Memòria Brut Nature 2016 was aged for a minimum of 60 months in the cellar.
No shipping liquor was added to the wine after the disgorging date, which is printed on the back label. This Corpinnat sparkling wine is disgorged on demand.
