The Cava Mastinell Cristina Gran Reserva Extra Brut was produced by Heretat Mas Tinell from the best grapes of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay, coming from estate vineyards located in Penedés.
After a meticulous selection, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented. 20% of this Spanish sparkling wine was fermented in oak barrels, and the rest in stainless steel tanks. Then this Cava Extra Brut was bottled and, after completing secondary fermentation, it was aged for over 90 months.
The Cava Mastinell Cristina Gran Reserva Extra Brut 2009 has a sugar content between 3 and 6 grams per litre.
After more than 7 years in the bottle, this Cava from Penedès is round, nuanced and mature.
