Produced by the Marqués de Riscal winery from vines over 80 years old, Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva is one of the most prestigious Spanish red wines from La Rioja.
The 2016 vintage of this exceptional red wine from La Rioja is, as usual, a varietal Tempranillo.
Manually harvested in October and exactingly selected, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, the barrel samples of this Rioja red wine were blended and then aged in French oak barrels for 32 months.
Finally, Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva 2016 was aged for a futher 36 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
This is Gran Reserva red wine wine that embodies the very essence of La Rioja, one of the world’s great wine regions.
