Produced by Rafael Palacios, member of a long and distinguished Spanish wine dinasty, Louro do Bolo is made almost entirely from Godello grapes, nuanced with a droplet of Treixadura (8%).
The grapes were sourced from estate vineyards, 20 to 45 years of age, situated at altitudes over 600 metres, near the village of O Bolo, in the dramatic landscape of the Bibei Valley, DO Valdeorras. The soils are mainly composed of granite and have very low levels of organic matter.
After a meticulous harvest, this Spanish white wine was fermented in round wooden vats made from French oak. Once the process was completed, Louro do Bolo 2022 was aged on its lees for 4 months.
Made from one of Spain’s most promising white grapes, this white wine from Valdeorras is characterful and elegant.
Pair this white wine from Galicia with shrimp and creamy cheeses.
