The flagship wine of Celler Pascona, Lo Pare de Pascona is an uncompromisingly terroir-oriented wine produced in DO Montsant.
A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Spanish red wine is produced from the oldest vines of the winery. They are planted in rugged slate soils, similar to those of the neighbouring Priorat.
After a careful vinificacion carried out following minimal intervention procedures, Lo Pare de Pascona 2019 was aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
Decant this Crianza red wine at least 1 hour before drinking.
This blended red wine from Montsant is an under-the-radar jewel that should evolve nicely in the bottle.

| Palate | Bold and complex, this wine of Celler Pascona is still a little tight, showing considerably room for growth. Deep mineral and earthy notions which convey a sense of place, with flavours wild berries and layers of Mediterranean undergrowth, lavender, flowers and smoke. First-class acidity, ripe tannins and long, complex finish. |
