Based in Gratallops, in the very heart of Priorat, the Trossos del Priorat winery is the producer of Lo Món.
This bold Spanish red wine is sourced from vines grown in slate soils and farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
Made from a complex blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, the grapes were harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard.
Once in the cellar the grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then, the wine was drawn off and transferred into 225-litre French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 12 months.
After that, Lo Món 2017 was bottled and aged for a further 12 months in the cellar prior to its release.
We suggest that you decant this red wine from Priorat at least 40 minutes before you drink it.
