The 2019 vintage of Les Sorts Vinyes Velles is, as usual, made from a blend of old-vines Carignan (90%) and Grenache (10%).
First, the hand-picked grapes were meticulously selected on the sourcing table, and then they were vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After completing alcoholic fermentation, this Spanish red wine from DO Montsant went through malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. Then this vegan wine was matured for 17 months in the barrels.
Finally, Les Sorts Vinyes Velles 2019 was aged for 12 months minimum in the bottle before its release.
