The remarkable Juvé y Camps La Siberia is the top-shelf Spanish sparkling wine of the prestigious Cava producer Juvé y Camps.
Interestingly, this Cava Gran Reserva Brut is not made from the traditional varieties. Instead, this is a varietal Pinot Noir sourced from an exceptional vineyard with clay-limestone soils situated in an area of Penedès with a very particular microclimate, much cooler than the neighbouring plots -hence the name of the wine.
The over 30-year-old vines were harvested by hand, meticulously selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, Juvé y Camps La Siberia 2012 completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for 80 months minimum before being disgorged and added no sugar.
Deep and amazingly complex, this Rosé Cava Brut Nature Gran Reserva is a celebration wine if there ever was one.
Only 3,000 bottles produced.
