This is the new vintage of Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata Magnum. An excellent Spanish red wine produced by the Juan Gil winery.
A varietal Monastrell, Juan Gil 12 Meses is made from grapevines over 50 years old, located between 700 and 850 metres of altitude in the southeastern Spanish region of Jumilla. They are planted in soils composed of sand and limestone, and have very low levels of organic matter.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 20 to 25 days. After that, Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata 2020 Magnum completed malolactic fermentation and a 12-month ageing period in French oak barrels.
We strongly suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before you drink it.
This is a characterful organic red wine.
