A varietal Tinto Fino, Jaros is produced by the Viñas del Jaro winery, a brand of the Compañía de Viñedos Iberian, owned by the Osborne brothers.
This single vineyard Spanish red wine was produced from grapes sourced from Finca El Quiñón, a vineyard on the banks of the Duero river, between the towns of Valbuena and Pesquera de Duero, in the very heart of the Ribera del Duero region.
Traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks for 25 days, after fermenting and macerating with the skins Jaros 2019 was aged for 18 months in new and 2nd year French oak barrels.
Finally, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for some months in the bottle before its release.

| Palate | Elegant and taut, this wine from Viñas del Jaro has some slightly ruggged tannins that need some time to fully integrate, enlivened by a fresh acidity. The wine is still a little tight, but it has real potential for improvement. Long, persistent finish with remembrances of black fruit, spices and balsam. |
