The name of the Cava Jané Ventura DO Gran Reserva Vintage has a dual significance: in the Catalan language, «Do» is both a musical note and the talent or gift a person has.
Produced by Jané Ventura, this Spanish sparkling wine is made from the traditional varieties Xarel·lo and Macabeo, sourced from old vinyeards.
As for the winemaking process, it followed the traditional method. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine was bottled and completed secondary fermentation.
After that, Jané Ventura DO Gran Reserva Vintage 2017 was aged for 60 months in the bottle.
You can drink this Gran Reserva Brut Nature without food. Nonetheless, this Cava from Penedès is also excellent to accompany a full course meal.
