This elegant Spanish red wine is produced by Bodega Izadi. A varietal Tempranillo, Izadi El Regalo is made from vines planted in 1936.
Carefully harvested, destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, 50% of this Rioja red wine remained in the tanks while the rest was transferred into new French oak barrels. Both underwent malolactic fermentation.
Finally, this reserva red wine from La Rioja was aged for 20 months in French and American oak barrels from several cooperages, half new and half used.
Before its bottling, Izadi El Regalo 2019 was clarified with egg whites and gently filtered.
Aerate 30 minutes before drinking.

| Nose | Pleasant and understated, this old-vines Tempranillo conveys some bright notes of red berries, hints of red and blue flowers, and tips of smoke and underbrush, with remembrances of moka, pepper, tobacco, clove and cinnamon. |
