A varietal Grenache, Hisenda Miret is an very refined organic and biodynamic red wine produced by the Parés Baltà winery.
This single vineyard Spanish red wine is produced from grapes coming from Cal Miret, a site at 400-600 meters above sea level within the DO Penedès. The grapevines are planted on slopped hills with clayey soils that provide for excellent water retention.
Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts took place in stainless steel tanks over a period of three weeks, with three daily pump-overs. Then this red wine from Penedès completed malolactic fermentation and a subsequent 5-month ageing period in new and 2nd year fine grain French oak barrels.
Aerate Hisenda Miret 2020 at least 20 minutes before drinking.
This refined vegan red wine is one of the bottlings of the Parés Baltà Microcuvées collection.
