Produced by Bodegas A Tapada, Guitian Godello Sobre Lías is a varietal Spanish white wine made solely from estate-owned Godello vineyards located in DO Valdeorras.
The vines, which are over 30 years of age, were meticulously harvested. Destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes were cold-macerated, pressed and drawn off. After that, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Guitian Godello Sobre Lías 2021 was aged for 6 months in the tanks, with weekly stirrings.
Finally, this white wine from Valdeorras was bottled and aged for a further 2 months before hitting the market.
Elegant and creamy, this white wine aged on lees will pair excellently with fish recipes.
