Produced by Máximo Abete, Guerinda La Viura is a single-vineyard varietal Spanish white wine made solely from Viura. The grapes come from a 0.3 hectare plot planted with low-yielding vines over 30 years of age. The site is located in a remote area near the village of San Martín de Unx, in the DO Navarra.
Once in the cellar, the grapes were transferred into French oak barrels with acacia heads, where they were fermented and subsequently aged for 5 months. Gently filtered, the white wine Guerinda La Viura 2019 was bottled in June 2020.
Pair this white wine fermented and aged in oak with rice dishes, sautéed veggies and creamy cheese.
Aerate 30 minutes before drinking.
