Two times π multiplied by the radius. The mathematical formula used to calculate the circumference of the circle, that most perfect and most harmonious of all geometrical figures, is used here to suggest the roundess and smoothness of Gratavinum 2 Pi·R, crafted by the Gratavinum winery.
Made from the traditional red grapes of the region, Grenache and Carignan, this organic red wine from DOQ Priorat is complemented with the foreign, but well adapted Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Vinified for 19 days in stainless steel tanks, Gratavinum 2 Pi·R 2019 was aged for 14 months in 1st and 2nd year French and Hungarian oak barrels. After the completion of that period, this Spanish red wine was bottled without being neither filtered nor stabilized.
In order to remove any potential sediment and let the wine fully express its qualities, we recommend that you decant this red wine from Priorat at least 30 minutes before you drink it.
