The ever more prestigious Gramona III Lustros Gran Reserva Brut Nature is a Corpinnat sparkling wine made from a blend of mostly Xarel·lo, complemented with Macabeo.
Both varieties are sourced from the Font Jui vineyard, which comprises 4 hectares of Xarel·lo planted clayey in soils, and 1 hectare of Macabeo with sandy soils.
Both are organically farmed, and the winery is increasingly applying biodynamic techniques to enhance the vitality of the grapevines.
Produced by Gramona, this Spanish sparkling wine was traditionally vinified following the Champenoise method. First, the grapes were separately fermented in stainles steel tanks.
After that, Gramona III Lustros Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2014 completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for 70 months in the cellar.
Finally, this Corpinnat sparkling wine was manually disgorged. No sugar was added to the wine after the process.
