Produced by the Portal del Priorat winery, run by Alfredo Arribas, Gotes del Priotat conveys the freshest, more inviting side of famed DOQ Priorat.
A blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, this Spanish red wine is made from vines grown in north-orientated plots, composed of slate soils and with moderate sun exposure.
Harvested by hand at their optimal ripening time, the grapes were partially destemmed and fermented using indigenous yeasts. A portion of this Crianza red wine was then fermented in big old wooden vats, and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, Gotes del Priorat 2020 was aged for 12 months in French oak vats and French oak barrels.
